Saturday Is Not the Sabbath Day

by YirmeAO

Saturday Is Not the Sabbath Day

Why Does the Whole World Agree That Saturday Is the Sabbath?

Ask Google. Ask any AI. Ask any rabbi. Ask any Seventh-day Adventist. They will all tell you the same thing: the seventh day of the week is Saturday. The international standard ISO 8601 confirms it. Judaism confirms it. Even Christianity concedes it — they simply claim the Sabbath was moved to Sunday because of JC's alleged resurrection.

And that should be the first clue that something is wrong.

When the entire world — the same world that has lied to you about the location of Jerusalem, the identity of Israel, the shape of the earth, and the name of the Most High — unanimously agrees on a piece of spiritual information, the children of Israel should be asking questions.

The best evidence that Saturday is not the Sabbath is that the world teaches you it is.

What Does Scripture Say About the Sabbath?

Before we can understand why the Sabbath has been lost, we need to understand why it matters. The Sabbath is not a suggestion. It is a death penalty commandment — and it is a perpetual covenant.

8 Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the seventh day is the Sabbath of AO thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11 For in six days AO made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore AO blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it. — Exodus 20:8–11

Two reasons are given for keeping the Sabbath. In Exodus 20, the reason is creation — He made us. In Deuteronomy 5:15, a second reason is added: redemption — He brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand. He is our Creator and our Redeemer. That should be enough.

But then the commandment gets sharper:

14 Ye shall keep the Sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to AO: whosoever doeth any work in the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. — Exodus 31:14–16

Perpetual covenant. Not temporary. Not until a new religion comes along and tells you otherwise. Perpetual.

And it is not just for the children of Israel. Even the stranger is commanded to keep it:

Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to AO, to serve Him, and to love the name of AO, to be His servants, every one that keepeth the Sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of My covenant. — Isaiah 56:6

What Did AO Say Would Happen to the Sabbath?

Here is where the revelation begins. AO told us — in advance — that the Sabbath would be lost.

And He hath violently taken away His tabernacle, as if it were a garden: He hath destroyed His places of the assembly: AO hath caused the solemn feasts and Sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion. — Lamentations 2:6

Read that again. AO caused the Sabbaths to be forgotten. Not man. Not Rome. Not Constantine. AO Himself caused it. The Sabbaths have been forgotten — they are not where you think they are.

And the Book of Jubilees confirms it — twice:

And they will forget all My Torah and all My commandments and all My judgments, and will go astray as to new moons months, Sabbaths, and feasts, and jubilees, and ordinances. — Jubilees 1:15

And all the children of Israel will forget and will not find the path of the years, and will forget the new months and seasons and Sabbaths, and they will go wrong as to all the orders of the years. — Jubilees 6:34

The children of Israel will forget the Sabbaths. They will go wrong as to all the orders of the years. This is not a warning about Sunday worship. This is a warning that the entire calendar — including Saturday — would be corrupted.

What Does Daniel 7:25 Mean by "Change the Times and the Laws"?

And he shall speak great words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. — Daniel 7:25

The fourth beast — the Babylonian system that has ruled over the children of Israel for 3,500 years — has changed the times. Not just the Sabbath, but the entire calendar.

Now consider this: three of the world's major religions each claim a different Sabbath day. Sunday — Christianity. Saturday — Judaism. Friday — Islam. Three religions, three different days, and all three claim the authority of the God of Abraham.

If the fourth beast's purpose was to change the times and wear out the saints, what better strategy than to scatter the children of Israel across the globe and give them three wrong options to fight over?

Sunday is eliminated — Christianity claims the Sabbath moved to Sunday because JC rose on Sunday. The entire New Testament is a fabrication. But AO left breadcrumbs inside it — burning bushes on His final exam, planted for those who love Him with all their hearts, all their minds, and all their souls. These contradictions are not accidents. They are tests of discernment.

The Good Friday to Easter Sunday tradition gives you at most two nights and two days — not three days and three nights as Matthew 12:40 requires.

The translations of Matthew 26:17, Mark 14:12, and Luke 22:7 claim the disciples asked where to prepare the Passover on the first day of Unleavened Bread — but the first day of Unleavened Bread is the day after Passover (Leviticus 23:5–6), making the question impossible.

An entire Sabbath is missing from crucifixion week — the high Sabbath of the first day of Unleavened Bread — and when you restore it, and recognize that Christ the Passover must have been killed on the fourteenth day at sunset as the Torah commands (Exodus 12:6, Deuteronomy 16:6), and that Daniel 9:27 places the cutting off in the middle of the week — Wednesday — then the count of three days and three nights places the resurrection after sunset on the Sabbath.

And Matthew 28:1 confirms it: in the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week — the Sabbath ends at dawn, not at sunset the night before. The resurrection happened on the seventh day, not the first. Even inside a book of lies, the truth cannot be fully hidden. Christianity's entire basis for Sunday worship collapses under its own text.

Friday is eliminated — Islam was created six hundred years after JC to further divide the descendants of Abraham.

Saturday is eliminated — because Lamentations 2:6, Jubilees 1:15, Jubilees 6:34, and Daniel 7:25 all testify that the Sabbath has been lost and the times have been changed.

That leaves Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Why Can't You Trust Pharaoh's Calendar?

The calendar the world follows today — the Gregorian calendar — is Pharaoh's calendar. It is 365.25 days long. It was handed down from Rome, which inherited it from Egypt. It is the calendar of captivity.

AO's calendar is 364 days. Not 365. Not 365.25. Exactly 364. And the difference matters — because a 364-day calendar divides evenly into 52 weeks. Every year, every feast day, every Sabbath falls on the same day of the week. There is no drift. There is no confusion. The calendar is perfect because AO is perfect.

But Pharaoh's calendar is 365.25 days — a number that does not divide evenly into weeks. Over time, the days drift. What was once the seventh day shifts by 1.25 days every year. Over centuries, over millennia, the alignment is completely destroyed. Saturday is the seventh day of Pharaoh's week, not AO's.

This is why the Sabbath has been forgotten. Not because the commandment was abolished, but because the calendar was changed. The children of Israel have been keeping time by Pharaoh's clock for 3,500 years, and then pointing to Pharaoh's calendar and saying, "See? Saturday. It's always been Saturday."

No. It has always been the seventh day. But you need AO's calendar to find the seventh day.

What Happens When You Replace a Clean Day with an Unclean Day?

One of the most fundamental commandments given to the children of Israel is to distinguish between clean and unclean. Ezekiel condemns the priests of Israel for this exact failure:

Her priests have violated My law, and have profaned Mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. — Ezekiel 22:26

Notice: in the same breath that He condemns them for failing to distinguish between clean and unclean, He says they have hidden their eyes from His Sabbaths. The two failures are connected — because the wrong calendar makes you treat an unclean day as holy and a holy day as common.

The Sabbath is a clean day. It is holy. It is set apart. Seven days in a week — six are unclean, one is clean. If you take a clean day and replace it with an unclean day — if you rest on the wrong day and work on the true Sabbath — you have failed the most basic test of discernment. You are treating clean as unclean and unclean as clean.

And the Book of Jubilees describes this exact condition:

And they will make an abominable day the day of testimony, and an unclean day a feast day, and they will confound all the days, the holy with the unclean and the unclean with the holy, for they will go wrong as to the months and the Sabbaths and the feasts and the jubilees. — Jubilees 6:37

They will confound all the days. The holy with the unclean. The unclean with the holy. This is not a hypothetical — this is now. Every Saturday Sabbath keeper, every Sunday churchgoer, every Friday mosque attendee is confounding the holy with the unclean.

And what does AO say about that?

I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before Mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. — Isaiah 66:4

AO chose the delusion. He gave you Sunday. He gave you Saturday. He gave you Friday. He gave the world these options because when He called, no one answered. When He spoke, they did not hear.

And then it gets worse:

24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out My hand, and no man regarded;

25 But ye have set at nought all My counsel, and would none of My reproof:

26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;

27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

28 Then shall they call upon Me, but I will not answer; they shall seek Me early, but they shall not find Me:

29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of AO. — Proverbs 1:24–29

They hated knowledge. They refused to turn when the truth was shown to them. And so their minds were imprisoned.

The Denomination Trap

Here is something to notice about how the system works. Christianity has a denomination for every truth you might stumble into — designed to catch you before you escape.

When you realize the Sabbath commandment still stands? They have Seventh-day Adventism waiting for you. When you realize there is something wrong with putting JC on equal footing with God? They have Jehovah's Witnesses. When you realize you should be keeping the dietary laws and observing Torah? They have Messianic Judaism.

There is a flavor of Christianity for every deception you encounter — so that no matter how many truths you discover, you can be redirected into a new doghouse that still keeps you under the authority of the New Testament.

Seventh-day Adventism is the perfect example. They correctly identify that the Sabbath is not Sunday. They correctly identify that the commandment still stands. But then they anchor you to Saturday — Pharaoh's seventh day — and hand you a false prophet named Ellen G. White whose writings are demonstrably plagiarized and contradict the very New Testament she claims to uphold.

The denomination exists to catch people at the exact moment they start asking the right questions — and redirect them before they reach the right answers.

The Japanese Proverb

There is a Japanese legend that says: if you get on the wrong train, get off at the nearest station. The longer it takes you to get off, the more expensive the return trip will be.

And it is not only about trains.

When you encounter truth, you have to be able to turn on a dime. Sunday to Saturday is a turn. But Saturday to the true Sabbath is another turn. And most people refuse to make it — because they have invested so much into the wrong day that admitting the error feels impossible.

But AO is watching. And He remembers who turned when He called — and who refused.

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. — Exodus 20:8

He said remember — because He knew you would forget.

So if Saturday is not the Sabbath, what day is it?

This is Part 1 of a two-part series on AO's calendar. Part 2 will examine how to identify the spring equinox, the seven possibilities for the first day of the year, and how the 364-day calendar works in practice.
