12“When you have crossed the Jordan, these [tribes] shall stand on Mount Gerizim1 to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph Ephraim, Mannasseh and Benjamin.
Translation Notes
1Deuteronomy 11:30-27:11 seem to have been inserted because it breaks the narrative of the blessing upon mount Gerizim and the curse upon mount Ebal. Should Deuteronomy 12-27 be included with Exodus 20-24. For example, Habakkuk 2:2-3 seems to indicate that Deuteronomy 18:15-18 should be included on the two tables of stone.
